About The Mission

I’m not your average woman. Well, maybe I am. I am 5’10” and weigh 214 pounds. I used to weigh 170 and fit nicely into a size 8/10. Then I had babies. One is four and the other is about to turn one. My husband and I have decided our family is big enough and we’re done having babies.
So now I’m ready to focus on the next stage of my life. It does not include wearing a size with an “X” or an “L” in it. My goal is to be fit and healthy enough to live a very active life. (I’ll have to be fit to keep up with these two high-speed kids!)
I’m also a novelist who writes heroines who are very much like the Sarah Connor of Terminator 2. To be able to exemplify that brand when meeting readers, other authors, agents and publishers would be a major career plus.
So here I am on the verge of turning forty-something and about to undergo a startling metamorphosis. I’ll use some tried and true weight loss and fitness techniques as well as some rather experimental approaches. All of them will be non-surgical and inevitably require a high motivation level, hard work and self-discipline. After all, going from a Rosie O’Donnell body to a Linda Hamilton circa T2 body is not going to be easy.

I’m walking through all the details in my blog. Start from December 1 and follow along. Let me know if you do anything differently as you go along.
I’ll begin the hard part on December 26th and start posting my daily progress on December 27th. Feel free to post as much of yours as you like!
