Losing Fat While Keeping Muscle
If it were just a matter of losing body weight, I could probably force myself to fast until I reached my goal weight. That wouldn’t accomplish my hardbody goal though. In fact, I’d lose a lot of muscle mass while fasting and although I’d be smaller in size, I’d have an even higher bodyfat percentage than I do now. So I’d be skinny but overly fat.
Yep, that is possible and sadly, a lot of women do it to themselves.
I want muscle. I want arms that I can wear comfortably in a sleeveless evening gown, not ones that have bat wings! Yukky!
This means I’ll have to do a good bit of weight training and be mindful of my body’s dietary requirements for protein.
