Creating My Quick Trim Schedule/Menu
The Quick Trim math is fairly easy. I’ll take my ideal body weight (170) and use that number for the grams of protein I need to take in every day.
Then I take 50% of my ideal body weight (85) and use that for the number of carbohydrate grams I can consume on a high carb day.
I take 25% of my ideal body weight (42) and use that for the number of carbohydrate grams I can consume on a low carb day.
I’ll begin on a high carb day and eat high carbs for two days before going to low carbs for two days. I’ll continue this four-day cycle (without free days) until I reach my goal weight. Once I reach 170 I can start tweaking the diet to be more strict or more flexible depending upon where my body fat level is.
I will most likely go with a five-meal day with two of those meals being made up of protein drinks or bars and three of them made up of whole foods. This may change somewhat depending upon the day but I know I’ll never be able to eat five whole food meals every day. It is just too much food when you’re talking about 170 grams of protein!
I’ll take a few minutes every evening to plan my menu for the following day so that nothing is left to chance.
